Who is baba Ansari?

The word baba is commonly used to as a word for “father” in south-east Asia. Baba can roughly be translated as a wise, older man with a sense of authority. “Ansari" means.. well it is a name, but in this case it is referred to this un-explainable figure of spontaneity and joyfulness. 

Together they form this character of a man who will, with his - often unexplainable - wisdom, guide you through a trip filled with joy and rememberable experiences!

If you would like to explore something, it should be with this mythical figure of spontaneity and originality. He might not have any experience or facts about whatever he is guiding you through, but his eagerness to find the perfect insta-spots HAS to be experienced. Right now, baba Ansari and his team are focusing on exploring Pakistan.

The Story

Sheikh and Mia decided to tie the knot in Gujranwala, Pakistan in the autumn of 2017. As they were about to enter a new journey of their life, they wanted Farooq to be part of their special day - after all, he is one of their closest friend. 
Farooq on the other hand, energetic and spontaneous as he is, hates being conventional. He was invited, but had a hard time entertaining the idea of attending as just an another ordinary guest.  After longful consideration (or maybe it was just postponing a response) he decided that instead of attending the wedding, he would rather spend an entire week with the couple after the wedding - as a wedding gift! The presence of Farooq was not the only gift - he would also plan and guide the couple on a journey throughout Pakistan!
Thrilled with the idea of exploring Pakistan, Sheikh and Mia accepted this generous gift (although, Sheikh and Mia did have a hard time explaining why a guy from Norway would come just after the wedding to attend their honeymoon). 
Knowing the craziness of Farooq, his confidence and his “pakistani-ness” (which is also a curiosity, because he is also like an old-traditional man trapped in a … well, maybe the curiosity lies just in the crossfire between being “old” and spontaneous”), Sheikh and Mia trusted him and looked forward to the journey. 
However, Farooq on the other hand had decided that this trip should be an adventure for him as well as the couple - and he decided, without telling the couple (after all, he could not risk scaring of the well-structured and risk averse Norwegian girl) , that he would wing the entire trip - without planning or booking anything in advance. 
Sheikh, Mia and Farooq ended up having the time of their life! This honeymoon-crasher ended up serving the gift of a lifetime to the couple!
The experience can not be justified with words. Now, after having been through this amazing journey, we have reflected upon a few things. Pakistan is a wonderful country with amazing people, from the peaceful north to the vibrant south. The colorful culture with heartwarming, chaotic and extraordinary atmosphere is bound to touch every soul - and all three of them realized; “this place HAS to be exposed to more people!”
And hence the purpose of our new brand!
